The EMMA International Collaboration is one of the world's most prestigious workshops for artisans. Since 1982, this event has gathered over 100 international artists, every two years, in Northern Saskatchewan. Participants come together in the spectacular Boreal Forest for six days of mentorship and uninterrupted creative activity. The Emma International Collaborations have become known worldwide as a premier artistic event that facilitates creative expression and collaboration between the world's leading makers, innovators and instructors in wood turning, furniture design, metal work, and mixed media.

Highlights of EMMA 2012

  • "Decoy" exhibition opening, from 7:00 - 9:00pm, July 29, 2012, at the Saskatchewan Craft Council Affinity Gallery. Works of Art from participating Emma Artists curated by Michael Hosaluk.
  • EMMA International Collaboration, July 30 to August 6, 2012, at the Ness Creek Cultural Site.
  • Live auction gala event, 3:00pm August 06, 2012 at the German Cultural Centre. Featuring the local work of Craig Campbell, Heather Cline, Michael Hosaluk, Miranda Jones and many International guests.

How can you be involved with EMMA 2012?

Donations of financial support, materials, tools and equipment from manufactures, businesses, corporate sponsors and private donors help to make this conference possible.

To become involved, you could:

  • Sponsor required materials for the metal area, wood-working or our new print-making area, donation $500
  • Sponsor conference fees for an emerging artist, donation $1000
  • Sponsor an established artist to act as an 'Emma' resource person, donation $1500
  • Sponsor transport of artworks for auction, donation $2000
